We are proud to introduce Sarah, the talented and enterprising co-founder of So Very Dog. Sarah’s journey from self-taught seamstress to successful business owner is nothing short of inspirational. Personal Background:
Sarah’s sewing journey began during the lockdown when she was gifted her late Nana’s sewing machine. Her Nana, who had been an avid sewer, could no longer sew due to decreasing dexterity in 2019 aged almost 90 at the time. Honouring her Nana’s legacy, Sarah taught herself to sew and quickly discovered a talent for creating beautiful, handmade dog accessories. She is also proud Mum to Esther, the 6-year-old human, and Ruby, the 3-year-old dog who are both best of friends and Sarah’s “why” Sarah’s Nana sadly passed away March 2024. In the months leading up to her passing, she enjoyed hearing all about the growth of the shop knowing it was the gifting of the sewing machine back in 2019 where this true entrepreneurial journey began.

• Sarah founded Sew Very Pretty UK back in 2019 after experimenting with various products and creating a stunning range of doggy leads, collars, and bows.
• Her business rapidly gained traction, selling handmade items both online and at regional markets. To date, Sarah has shipped her products to over 25 countries, demonstrating the global appeal of her craftsmanship.

• In May 2023, Sarah co-founded So Very Dog with Craig after winning a local competition that awarded them a retail unit with 12 months of rent-free occupancy.
